It's been a few weeks since I blogged. . .oops!

I went home to visit my family in NC for a week which was great. I also got to see some of closest friends from back home.

This was my week in a nutshell:
Pool.
Family.
Shopping.
Pool.
Family.
Besties.
Beach.
Shopping again.
Family.
Pool.

It was wonderful to relax. . .And now I'm back home in my happy little apartment and working. I can't wait for my wonderful boy to return next week too.

While I was home I got lunch with my bestie, Michelle who had returned from a month in Italy just two days before. Happy.

Hmmm...I don't know how to add photos from iPhoto into the blog. . .if anyone can tell me how, I would be grateful!

I wanted to add pictures along with this. . .but I'm not sure how. . .hmm oh well!
til next time

Sunday

Happy Sunday friends =)

I hope you are enjoying your weekend, I know I've enjoyed mine! I went yard-saling yesterday and ended up with some great finds, including 3 new milk-glass vases (!) and some other decor-ish items. Great fun=)

And then. . .I started a new project! I am going to make a wreath out of these lovely roses

I started making these last night, and they are time-consuming, goodness! But they are so cute, and fun to make.

Church was really good this morning- the pastor preached on prayer as the foundation of not only our spiritual but our entire lives and he made an analogy to the foundation built for the tallest building in the world the Burj Khalifa in the United Arab Emirates. Here it is:

It's so big, it looks fake, right? Wow. . .So the sermon was on Matthew 6:5-15 and discussed the elements going into prayer, that is a relationship and communion with God and how God wants that community with us, not so He can get to know us because He already does completely, but so we may benefit from knowing Him better. Mmm.

Yesterday I found a cute tray and little trinkets that are going as the centerpiece of my coffee table:

And I don't even really know what these little guys are, but they were only 10 cents, and I thought they were precious!

Guess What?!?!?!
I opened a store on etsy! YAY! I am only selling a few items right now to get started, but I will post more soon. Here is the link to my store: HowGloryGoes Shop on Etsy

Bye!
